Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: 23 July 2026 · Written in plain language, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Veritron sp. z o.o., registered in Poland at Daniszewska 22, 03-230 Warszawa ("Veritron," "we," "us"), is the data controller for personal data processed through veritron-renovations.com and in the course of preparing renovation quotes and contracts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices available to you.
1. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data that you provide directly, and a small amount of technical data collected automatically:
- Enquiry & contact data: first and last name, email address, phone number (if provided), property or project address, and the project details you type into our contact form.
- Contractual data: billing details and site-access information collected once a project agreement is signed.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited, collected via cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 6.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of data (e.g. health or financial background) through this website, and we ask that you avoid including such information in the free-text message field.
2. Why We Process Your Data
- To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form — legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the consent checkbox before submitting.
- To prepare and perform a renovation contract — legal basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request prior to entering into one.
- To meet accounting and tax obligations — legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation under Polish law.
- To understand and improve how our site is used — legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a reliable, secure website, or your consent where analytics cookies require it.
3. How Long We Keep Your Data
Enquiry data that does not lead to a signed contract is retained for up to 12 months, then deleted or anonymised. Contract and invoicing records are retained for the period required by Polish tax and accounting law (generally 5 years from the end of the relevant tax year). You may request earlier deletion of enquiry data that has not led to a contractual relationship at any time.
4. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell personal data. Limited data may be shared with subcontractors and trade partners strictly where necessary to deliver a signed project (e.g. scheduling a specialist electrician), with our accounting provider for invoicing, and with hosting or email-delivery providers who process data on our behalf under a data-processing agreement. Any such processor is contractually required to protect your data to at least the standard set out in this policy.
5. Your Rights Under GDPR
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure ("the right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to certain processing; request portability of data you provided to us; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at veritron@op.pl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), at uodo.gov.pl.
6. Cookie Policy
- Essential cookies: required for the site to function correctly (e.g. remembering your cookie preference and menu state). These cannot be disabled as they do not identify you personally.
- Preference & analytics cookies: help us understand which pages are useful and refine the site over time. These are only set once you click "Accept All" in the cookie banner; clicking "Decline Non-Essential" keeps only strictly necessary cookies active.
You can change your cookie choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which will show the banner again on your next visit. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies directly through their settings.
7. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls and staff confidentiality obligations — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we encourage you to avoid sending sensitive financial information through the contact form.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
